Ripley Rangers U11’s lost heavily to ADASC as the table toppers ran out 7-1 winners.
Ripley were undone by a first half hat-trick from former striker Ben Morris, with three goals in as many minutes effictively killing off the game early on. Tommy Austin saved well before old boy Morris completed his hat trick running through after Ripley cleared the ball against their own man and into his path. Ripley’s man-of-the-match Charlie Willows managed their first real effort on target in the last minute of the first half, latching onto a well taken Bekir Ozdemir free kick.
Though Ripley kept ADASC at bay for periods in both halves they were not creating chances and, despite a point blank stop by Austin it was just a matter of time before ADASC added to their tally.
Three more strikes in a ten minute period took the score to 7-0 before Todd Wells got onto the score sheet, finishing off an Alfie Quinn floated cross.
This was an emphatic performance from a strong ADASC side leaving Ripley with plenty to work on before the sides meet again.
