RIPLEY Running Club entered 21 runners in last weekend’s Matthew Walker 10km race.
Ripley Running Club entered 21 runners in this race, 12 men and nine ladies.
Ripley ladies showed the men how to go on yet again with Lucy Holmes finishing third lady overall!
Not only that Cathy Cresswell and Paula Brudenell of Ripley came back in marvellous times, Cathy knocking an enormous seven minutes off last year’s time meant that Ripley ladies had won the team event, all three collecting a bottle of wine for their efforts.
In the mens category Dean Taylor of Ripley came back in ninth position a superb achievement with some quality runners in the field.
