Matlock Football League invite applications

The Manor Pharmacy Matlock & District Football League are currently looking for new or unattached teams for the 2012/2013 season.

The membership constitution of the league is two strong divisions and also boasts the might of Hopflower FC who were recently crowned Derbyshire County Football Association Divisional Cup North champions and Chesterfield Town FC who lifted the 106th Cavendish Cup.

New teams already confirmed for the 2012/13 season are Ashover FC, Barley Mow FC and Darley Dale Red Star FC.

The competition also boasts fantastic cup competitions, referees, league fee’s and short traveling distances between teams and the Matlock League is now one of the strongest leagues in the county.

The league is now also attracting some of the best amateur teams Derbyshire has to offer.

New or unattached clubs wishing to become part of the league’s fantastic set-up are advised not to delay.

Due to the huge demand expected to apply to enter the league, a cut-off point for applications from new teams has been set for the end of June.
