IN their last away game of the 2011/2012 Blue Square Bet Premier Division season, Alfreton Town fell to a 1-0 goal defeat at Newport County who ensured their survival with the single-goal win from a scrappy encounter.

The only goal of the game came on 38 minutes with Romone Rose calmly finishing after getting onto the end of a Sam Foley cross.

The Reds bring down the curtain on an eventful season on Saturday, April 28, when Bath City are the visitors to the Impact Arena.
