Eastwood & Heanor Foresters FC were unlucky not to come away with a point from their game at Chellaston Boys.

Foresters were 1-0 down after one minute but fought back with a goal from Adam Baldwin and Jono Dowd to take the lead by half-time and go into the second half in front.

Foresters took most of the play in the first half and went ahead again in the second half after an Owen Lopinto free kick hit the post 40 yards out and was headed into the net by Jack Nicholson.

Chellaston equalised and then scored a crucial goal in the last four minutes to take the win 4-3.

The game was tight with Foresters taking being in front for large parts of the game and were unlucky to come away without a point or a win at the final whistle.

Chellaston Boys were last season’s joint winners of the under 16s Division Two, which meant it was always going to be a tough game. However, they left a mark on this game and can’t wait to play them again on the return leg.

The club is always looking for sponsors to help with future development and growth and would welcome anyone who is interested.
