Clay Cross Town retained their thirdrd place in the Central Midlands Football League Premier Division North with a convincing 6-2 away win at Brodsworth.
The Doncaster area club are new to the league this season but suffered a heavy defeat with top scorer Rockie White netting a hat-trick, taking his season total to 15 in eight games.
Also on the score sheet was Phil Lowry with two and one from Danny Gee.
This week’s midweek game at Ollerton had been re arranged for the 18th September with a 7.45 kick off.
So this Saturday, 15 September, is the next game for Clay Cross with a home game at The Devil Made Me Do It Tattoo Studio Ground, Mill Lane against Sherwood Colliery at 3pm.
The Nottinghamshire team are also new to the league for this season and the ‘Town’ will be looking to continue their winning ways.
