ALFRETON Town have signed striker Louis Moult on a month’s loan from Premiership side Stoke City.

He will be at the Impact Arena until February 12th, 2012, inclusive and will wear squad number 17.

Moult, 19, is the younger brother of Alfreton central midfield player Jake and actually played against the Reds in last season’s FA Trophy ties against Mansfield Town whilst he was on loan from the Potters with the Stags.

Louis is eligible for this Saturday’s FA Carlsberg Trophy second round tie at Weymouth and has been added to Nicky Law’s squad to travel south.

He is a product of Stoke’s Academy and made his Premiership debut as a substitute aged just 17 for the Potters in a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

Shortly afterwards he was offered his first professional contract.

Louis spent six months out on loan at Bradford City at the start of the 2010/11 season, scoring his first senior goal in that spell.

Moved to Mansfield Town but after appearing twice against the Reds in the FA Trophy and scoring twice in a 3-3 draw against Newport County, he suffered a back injury which cut short his loan time at Field Mill.

This season, Louis has had loan spells at Accrington Stanley in August 2011 where he made five appearances and then rejoined Mansfield Town last October but only made one substitute appearance whilst before returning to Stoke.
