Alfreton Town welcome Stockport County to the Impact Arena on Saturday in the final home game of the season.

Reds’ boss Nicky Law will be looking for his side to extend their five-game unbeaten run and sign off at home with a second successive victory at the Impact Arena.

Stockport are unbeaten in their last two outings and in their last fixture were held to a 2-2 draw at home by relegated Corby Town last Saturday.

Prior to that they had recorded a fine 3-2 win at Worcester City.

On the road this season, the Hatters have a good record with just five defeats in 20 games.

Jim Gannon’s side have won eight times and drawn seven and County have a better points haul away than on home turf with 31 of their 55 points being picked up on the road.

The first game of the season between the sides saw Stockport took the spoils with a narrow 1-0 victory in front of 2,839 at Edgeley Park way back on September 19 thanks to a third minute Ryan Ellison goal.

Alfreton’s final game of the campaign is on April 30 at North Ferriby United.
