Early bird tickets offer

TICKETS for Derbyshire CCC’s 2012 summer of cricket – including the two day match versus South Africa – are available now at the early bird price of just £12.

Derbyshire entertain the world’s number two Test nation on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th August as the tourists prepare for the third and Final Test against England at Lord’s.

Also on sale are tickets for the Friends Life t20 match versus Nottinghamshire Outlaws on Friday, July 6 and for the Chesterfield Festival of Cricket which includes a LV = County Championship match and Clydesdale Bank 40 fixture versus Yorkshire.

Tickets can be purchased online at derbyshireccc.com, by telephone on 01332 388 101 or in person from the Club Shop situated in the Gateway Centre building at The County Ground from today.

The special price will be available until the New Year. Tickets for juniors are available for £6. Anybody aged 0-13 on 31st March 2012 can become a member of the Club and, therefore, attend all Derbyshire cricket, for FREE. Provision can be made for special prices on group bookings upon request.

Head of Media and Marketing Tom Holdcroft said: “Tickets in the hands of supporters is one of the most powerful marketing methods so we are delighted to release our tickets early and at a discounted rate.

“Tickets for big matches such as the visit of South Africa will make excellent Christmas presents for local cricket lovers and we will, of course, produce vouchers where requested so there is something physical to be presented as a present.”
