Wayne Madsen missed out on a second century of the season as Glamorgan's bowlers hit back on the third afternoon of the game at Derby.

Madsen was three short of what would have been his 20th first-class hundred for Derbyshire when he came down the pitch to Andrew Salter and was bowled.

The off-spinner took his third wicket when Matt Critchley edged to slip during a collapse in which Derbyshire lost four wickets for 33 runs.

Wes Durston had plundered some short bowling to score 43 from 56 balls but his departure started the slide and Derbyshire were still 103 behind on 274 for 8 when rain and sleet halted play.
