AN X FACTOR finalist is due to perform in Ripley for Valentine’s day in February.
Butterley Grange is due to host a special ball for the romantic day, with talent competition nearly-man Andy Abraham as the main attraction.
Andy finished second in the 2005 series of ITV’s the X-Factor.
The fundraising event on Saturday, February 11, is being organised by charity Sight Support Derbyshire and will also be compared by snooker legend Willie Thorne.
Chief executive of Sight Support Derbyshire Ges Roulstone said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be bring Andy Abraham to Derbyshire for our first ever Valentine’s Ball. My wife has been a big fan ever since he starred on the X Factor so I jumped at the chance to take her as part of our Valentine’s celebrations.”
Guests at the Valentine’s bash will also receive a four-course meal. Tickers cost £120.
