A CRISIS meeting of Waingroves residents is due to take place this evening at Waingroves Church between 7pm and 9pm.
Anyone is welcome to attend to air views on a recent plan by property developers Bowmer and Kirkland to build 98 homes on land near the village.
The 19.5 acre site is situated off Waingroves Road features fields and scattered scrub land and is currently used for cattle grazing.
Villagers were informed of the outline application by letter two weeks ago.
