FICTION fans got a chance to meet a popular Heanor author at a book signing on Saturday.
Thriller writer Philip Neale, was on hand at the Book Boutique, in Ripley, to talk with fans of his work and inscribe his name on their prized copy. Philip, who writes using the surname James, appeared at the Church Street shop alongside Crich Tramway Village artist-in-residence Paul Atchinson, who offered punters painting tips.
Store owner Caroline Evans, said: “A lot of people hung around and had a good chat on the day.”
Caroline is now planning events for Independent Book Sellers Week, in June.
