Long delays in Derbyshire after lorry sheds load of glass on road
There have been long delays in Derbyshire for most of today after a lorry overturned and shed its load of glass.
Highways England closed the Markeaton island A52 junction of the A38 following the incident.
There was no access to A52 west towards Ashbourne from the A38 south
Clear up crews and recovery were at the scene for several hours and motorists were urged to avoid the area if possible.
The road reopened at about 3.30pm.
