Somercotes man charged with burgling hairdressers
A Somercotes man is to appear at Derby Crown Court after admitting burgling a hairdressers.
Luke Battelle, 36, of High Street was arrested on land off Rodgers Lane in Alfreton shortly after 11pm on May 25 by Safer Neighbourhood Team officers.
He was questioned and charged with a burglary at a hairdressers in the town and going equipped to steal.
He appeared before magistrates in Chesterfield on May 27 and pleaded guilty to the offences. The case has been committed to Derby Crown Court on June 17 for sentencing.
