Entertainment was then provided by Alice North and Jessica Guyler, two young musicians from Ripley, who represented the club at the District 1220 Young Musicians Concert held earlier this year. President Elaine Richardson (pictured) thanked the two young ladies for their performances and presented them with a gift each from the club. It was then time for the installation of the new officers, commencing with president Elaine giving her valedictory address, followed by her installing the incoming president Derek Oldroyd (pictured), who informed the club of his aspirations for his forthcoming year in office. He then installed rotarian Marie Adams as the club’s vice president and installed rotarian Owen J Briggs as junior vice president. The proceedings concluded with president Derek proposing the rotary toast. Toastmaster for the evening was junior vice president Owen J Briggs.
