Riddings surgery

A new multi agency surgery involving the police, local housing associations, councillors and other agencies is set to take place in Riddings.

The surgery, designed to give local people an opportunity to raise problems directly on a wide range of issues, will take place between 10am and 12pm on Thursday, September 6, at Riddings Community Centre, Riddings Park.

There will be representatives from the Somercotes and Riddings Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, Amber Valley Borough Council, Derbyshire County Council, the Guinness Trust, Futures Housing, children’s, youth and health services and local schools and churches.

PCSO Mikel Miller said: “These surgeries are an opportunity for residents to call in and speak to representatives from many different agencies in one place, and we hope to be able to offer them on a regular basis.
