Pupils in Ripley have been teaming up with their local Safer Neighbourhood team to shout loud and proud about road safety. More than 100,000 children across the UK took part in Brake’s Giant Walk on Wednesday June 10. Ripley Junior School kick started the campaign, which saw around 270 pupils, parents and teachers taking to the streets of Ripley alongside PCSO Sarah Dufton and PCSO Alison Dare. PCSO Sarah Dufton said: “It was a really fantastic day!”
