ThE star of this week’s Rescue Me campaign is an inquisitive fellow by the name of Alfie.
He is a six-year-old saluki crossbreed currently at Derby’s RSPCA shelter for the second time.
Not long ago staff at the centre thought they had found him a home. But sadly, due to a bereavement in the family, he had to be taken back in by the animal charity.
According to Karen Carter, communities manager at the centre, Alfie is a calm dog and is very inquisitive. She said: “It must be the long nose!”
To arrange to see Alfie give the RSPCA Derby a call on 01332 344620, or pay him a visit at the kennels on Abbey Street.
