Police moove cows from middle of busy Derbyshire road

Police officers had to move a herd of loose cows from a road in Derbyshire this morning.

The cattle had escaped from a field and made their way to the carriageway adjacent to the A38 northbound, near to the Ripley turn-off.

Officers managed to move the cows off the road to clear the carriageway.

The owner of the field has now been located.
