People living in Heanor and Langley Mill have the chance to catch up with their local police with two events due to take place in the next week.

A drop in surgery is being held by the Heanor and Loscoe Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team on Saturday, May 21, between 11am and 12 noon, at Hallmark Cards on Market Street, Heanor.

Surgeries give residents the opportunity to speak to their local police officers and PCSOs about any concerns or issues on a more informal basis. Appointments are not necessary.

There will also be a meeting for Heanor and Langley Mill residents to discuss concerns and help set neighbourhood priorities for the next three months.

It will take place at 6pm on Tuesday, May 24 at Neals Court, Andrews Drive, Langley Mill.

For those residents who cannot attend but would like to contact the local Safer Neighbourhood policing team call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police, email ripley.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk or follow the team on Twitter: @HeanorLoscoeSNT or @LangleyMillSNT.
