A Heanor barber and photographer celebrated the first anniversary of his business this week.
Phillip Lake opened his Godfrey Street business a year ago on Wednesday and says trade has been getting better and better.
Phillip, 55, worked as a photographer in Ilkeston for 18 years before deciding to incorporate picture-taking with hair-cutting. He said: “It’s a bit of an odd combination but it works. In the old days a lot of barbers sold fishing tackle or something else.
“Because I have a photography business, I do passport photos as well.”
