Derbyshire firefigters came to the aid of Nico the cat who had been stuck in a tree for 48 hours.
Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service and the RSPCA were called to the large tree in Long Eaton.
A Fire & Rescue spokesman said: "Nico the cat had a smooth journey back to ground after being stuck in a tree for 48 hours."
