Jo lives in Morton Grange Care Home, in Alfreton, following the death of her mum, Dot a few years ago in Ashgate Hospice.

Sue Kirwan, of the activities team at Morton Grange said: “Walking a kilometre over a four week period is a real challenge for Jo but her dogged determination is sure to see her through. She is due to complete the challenge on her birthday, March 17.”

Jo, who wants to raise £500, has been in lockdown for a year, most of it being confined to her bedroom. She is being allowed to walk along the corridor for her challenge.
