Police are appealing for help in tracing the family of a man who fell ill at a Derbyshire shop.

The man was taken ill at Alfreton’s One Pound Plus store, Rodgers Lane, at around 12.30pm on Saturday.

He was taken to hospital where he remains.

Police believe the man may own the shop where he was found.

He is believed to be in his 40s, living in Derby and originally from the Middle East.
