Overheated wheel bearing causes M1 lorry blaze
Firefighters from Chesterfield and Alfreton were called out to attend a lorry fire on the M1 on Sunday.
The incident happened shortly after noon between junctions 29 and 28 and was started by an overheated wheel bearing.
The crews used one hose to extinguish the fire and then escorted the lorry to a safe place in the nearest service station.
The incident was declared closed at 12.46pm.
