A QUARTET of cats are the stars of this week’s Rescue Me.

Oscar, Trixie, Alice and Apricot were taken in at the RSPCA animals centre, Derby, in the autumn as strays with their two sisters, who have now been rehomed.

They had little experience of human contact, but are making real progress. Communities manager at the centre, Karen Carter, said: “They need somebody who has plenty of time, patience and love to bring them out of their shells.”

The feline foursome need a quiet environment with older children and no dogs, but they will get along with other cats.

To view them pop in at the RSPCA shelter on Abbey Street, Derby, or call 01332 344620.
