WITH the Sunday title already in the bag, Langley Mill can now concentrate on the Saturday league title push.
The first and second teams both have great chances of lifting their respective titles, but there is still a lot of cricket still to be played.
The first team make the long trip to Wirksworth & Middleton knowing that a victory is needed to maintain the pressure on leaders Ockbrook.
The hosts sit comfortably mid-table, and should now escape relegation, but they will still be looking for points to enable them to sleep more easily.
The second eleven return to Station Road for a vital game against Eckington, who realistically are the only side standing between the Millers and promotion.
Eckington are 36 points behind the Millers, but with 27 at stake here, the gap could shrink considerably.
With these two sides closely matched, it’s bound to be a tense thriller.
With the Sunday League Section 4 title secured, Langley Mill will be able to celebrate with their home supporters this week when bottom club Byron Village make a first visit to Station Road.
The Village have had a difficult season and are well adrift at the foot of the table having been doomed to relegation several weeks ago.
All games for the rest of the season will start at 1pm.
