FIVE more off-road scooters have been bought to help disabled people visit Derbyshire parks, including one more for Shipley.
A total of £38,244 has been spent on the scooters, known as trampers, by the county council via a grant from Aiming High for Disabled Children, bringing the total to 10.
Three of the ten trampers are based at Shipley Country Park and can be hired for a small fee.
In addition a new mobile Changing Places toilet, costing £35,000, which can be used around the county at events by disabled people with complex needs, has now been purchased.
