A Heanor Primary school has maintained its ‘good’ rating according to education watchdog Ofsted.
Corfield Primary School, Thorpes Road, was inspected at the end of the summer term and the report has now been published.
The visit was the first monitoring inspection since the school was judged to be good in November 2011.
Inspector Emma Nuttall said: “This school continues to be good. Its success is underpinned by the headteacher’s sharp focus on ensuring that each teacher and teaching assistant continues to improve the quality of their work.” The next steps for the school is to now raise attainment in maths and phonics.
