Lighthouse shop gets a bright new make-over

a CHARITY shop in Jacksdale will get a face-lift thanks to volunteers and offenders on a Community Payback scheme on Sunday, January 22.

Valley CIDS employees and volunteers will be working alongside members of the Badger Community Group and offenders provided by the Probation Service to repaint the shop front in Main road.

The shop raises funds to support the work of Valley CIDS and related charities whose three children’s workers visit more than 65 local schools to provide much needed support through school assemblies, religious education lessons, lunchtime and after school clubs.
