Staff at a Ripley recruitment company say they are “absolutely blown away” with the results of their Easter Egg ‘Eggstravaganza’.
Bosses and employees at Essential Recruitment launched an initiative ahead of Easter to get delicious chocolate eggs to donate to the children’s hospital, at Derby Royal Hospital.
Local companies – including Langley Mill, AP Metalising, Masterdor, Sheerframe Guilford, Mawson Builders, Adshead, Rex H, Christine S, Carla A, and Team Ripley – all donated eggs to the cause.
A spokesperson for Essential Recruitment said: “We’re absolutely blown away with the response to our Easter Egg Eggstravagansa.
“Around 2,000 items have been collected between five of our branches, including Easter eggs, chocolates, Easter crafts, soft toys and vouchers.”
Essential Recruitment have stores in Ripley, Chesterfield, Mansfield, and Worksop.
Julie Chapman, manager at Derby Hospitals Charity, said: “We would all like to say a huge thank you to everybody who was involved in the Easter Eggstravaganza.
“Thank you so much for supporting the Children’s Hospital in this way.”
