NHS directors in charge of community healthcare in Derbyshire are inviting members of the public to join them later this month when the board of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust next meets.
Patients, families, carers and local residents are being invited to sit in on top level discussions about services provided by the Trust when the Board meets on Thursday 24 November in the Committee Room, Walton Hospital, Whitecotes Lane, Chesterfield, S40 3HW, starting at 9am. Light refreshments will be provided.
Kirsteen Farrar, Trust Secretary for Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, said: “We hope people will take up the invitation to come along and find out more about what we do.
Engaging public involvement is a top priority for us, especially with our move towards becoming a Foundation Trust and providing greater opportunities for people to have a say in how we run and develop services in future.”
If you are unable to make it to the November meeting, the Board will meet again on Thursday 15 December in the Farnah Room, Babington Hospital, Belper, DE56 1WH.
Anyone who would like to ask a question at the Board meeting on 24 November is asked to contact Kirsteen Farrar, Trust Secretary at Babington Hospital, Derby Road, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 1WH, telephone 01773 525065 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Questions are encouraged but will need to be submitted in advance, to ensure a full and accurate response can be provided at the meeting.
