Flowery bonnets and chocolate eggs were the flavour of the day at musical classes for toddlers in Ripley during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
Children and parents at Twistin Tots and Twistin Tikes music classes were asked to bring along their Easter creations for the chance of winning a chocolate Easter egg, Easter-themed soft toy, or Twistin Tots t-shirt.
Winners at the Twistin Tots classes were Holly Gibbs, one, at the 9.30am class and Amelia Richards, three, at the 11am class. In the afternoon, Hollie Beresford, three, won the best bonnet award at the 1.30pm Twistin Tikes class.
Twistin Tots leader Jacqui Davis said: “Everyone made a great effort – we had some great creations. It was a hard decision to choose the winner at all classes, but in the end, the girls who won got their prizes as they looked like they had gone to a lot of trouble. Holly’s bunny hat in particular looked amazing! “The girls beat off stiff competition to win their prizes but everyone received some chocolate treats and everyone enjoyed taking part.”
