Ripley folk stand the chance of winning £60 by entering their fruit, veg, and flowers into the town’s annual growing contest.
There is still time to enter the town council’s Best Kept Allotment and Best Kept Garden Competition, sponsored by the Midlands Co-operative Society, as it nears the closing date of July 8.
Garden entrants could be in the running for a £60 for first prize, £30 second prize, and £10 third prize.
Prizes for the Best Kept Allotment Competition include Coop gift vouchers worth £60, £30 and £10.
Competition judge and mayor of Ripley Cllr Alwyn Bridge said: “We couldn’t have the contest last year because of the weather - but we would love everyone to get involved.
“There are some great prizes on offer.”
The competition is open to residents of Ripley, Ambergate, Bull Bridge, Hammersmith, Heage, Lower Hartshay, Marehay, Nether Heage, Ridgeway, Sawmills, Street Lane, Upper Hartshay and Waingroves and judging will take place on July 20.
