AN INSTITUTION that supports farming families in Amber Valley that have fallen on hard times is hosting a fundraising Sunday lunch.
On Sunday, July 3, from 1pm, the Derbyshire branch of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) is holding the event in a marquee at Alkmonton tractors, near Ashbourne.
Tickets are £15 for two courses, including wine. Children eat for £5, while those aged under five eat free.
To book tickets or offer support contact the RABI East Midlands regional officer, Milly Wastie, on 07525 323450 or via email at email@example.com.
Nick Adams, Derbyshire RABI chairman, said: “No-one knows what may lie ahead within our industry and I urge everyone who works or lives in the countryside to help support this event in any way they can.”
