A Range Rover crashed through a wall, landing down a five-metre drop in a field following a collision involving a Ford Fiesta and a bus.
The passenger of the four by four vehicle was injured following the incident just before 1pm on Saturday in the A610 at Sawmills.
The driver of the bus, which was a Skills coach, was also injured in the crash, which involved around half a dozen vehicles in total.
No one was thought to have serious injuries, however firefighters from Crich, Alfreton and Nottingham Road had to release the two injured people out of their vehicles using hydraulic cutting equipment.
The road was closed between the A6 and Buckland Hollow until 5.07pm while this took place.
