Emergency crews called to Somercotes collision
Fire crews from Alfreton were called to a collision in Somercotes this morning (April 23).
The accident took place at around 10.15am in Leabrooks Road.
Motorists and passengers of the two cars – a Peugeot and Vauxhall – were out of their vehicles on arrival of the fire crews, who made the scene safe.
Police and an ambulance also attended – which took two people to hospital, with minor injuries.
Crews left the scene at 11.05am.
