The students find solution

HEANOR Gate Science College students who have been working for the last six months with Rolls-Royce plc to solve a real problem had their work on display last week.

The team - comprising Matt Mccluskyy, Callum Rhodes and Max Mason - has been working with engineer Oliver Chamberlain from Rolls-Royce plc on a project to provide a new coolant removal solution.

In all 300 students from 66 schools across the East and West Midlands took part in the Engineering Education Scheme’s (EES) Celebration Day in Birmingham on April 26, showing the results of their projects which will be assessed by experts.
