Pupils at The Kimberley School have taken part in a challenge to come up with an environmentally-friendly business venture which will be judged this weekend at the Newark and Nottinghamshire County Show.
Seven schools across Nottinghamshire have entered the Challenge which will be judged by an expert panel at the show.
Kimberley’s entry is called ‘Community Compost’, which is a scheme that would award people with vouchers for recycling.
The winning school will be presented with a prize of £1,000 on the Saturday afternoon of the show.
The competition was open to years eight and nine.
