Twigg admitted breaching the order on April 25 and admitted stealing meat from a Co-op, at North Wingfield, on May 17. The defendant told police he has a heroin addiction and he had been threatened to get money to pay debts.

John Wilford, defending, said his money is paid into his father’s account and his father failed to meet him so he went to his parents’ home.

Magistrates sentenced Twigg to 12 weeks’ custody suspended for 24 months with drug rehabilitation and a further rehabilitation requirement. He must pay a £115 victim surcharge.
