Leabrooks supermarket staff have been celebrating after opening their doors following a much-needed store makeover.

Central England Co-operative opened the doors to its refurbished shop in Leabrooks, Alfreton on Friday, March 25.

The food store has been given a makeover to provide its members and customers with an improved shopping experience.

The transformation sees the introduction of a new store layout, brand new refrigeration, a brighter store with an enhanced range of chilled beers and wines and a wider selection of products.

Leabrooks Co-operative store manager Julie Evans, said: “This is a very exciting time for everyone in the team at Leabrooks Central England Co-operative.

“The store looks fantastic and we’ve had a great food store re-launch, with lots of positive comments made by customers.

“Please come and visit our new look and feel food store and see what we have to offer.

“I would like to thank our customers for their patience during the refurbishment and I hope they enjoy our new food store as much as we do.”

The Leabrooks Co-operative store is open from 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 10pm on Sundays.

The store has a wide range of products from everyday necessities to special items.
