Detectives are checking to see if three burglaries that happened in Ripley and Swanwick over the weekend are linked.
The first took place at a cottage in Hammersmith, at the bottom of Butterley Hill, sometime between 11pm on Saturday and 7.55am on Sunday.
An open window was used to gain access and a wallet, a mobile and car keys were stolen along with a VW Golf.
The second break-in happened on Broom Avenue, Swanwick, sometime between 7.30pm on Saturday and 2.10am on Sunday. Thieves broke in through the back door and stole credit cards, cash and a hand bag .
The third took place cometime between 2pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday at Denton Way, Swanwick. Thieves broke in through the back door and stole an iPad.
A police spokeswoman said officers were working to see if the three crimes were linked.
