Unqualified and uninsured driver stopped by police after nipping to shop for cereal

Police stopped the motorist on Thursday night.

A driver who popped to the shops for cereal ended up walking home after having their vehicle seized by police.

Derbyshire Roads police stopped a vehicle in Langley Mill last night, which was being driven by an unsupervised provisional licence holder, with no L plates or insurance.

They tweeted that the driver ended up walking back to Eastwood with the Coco Pops he had gone to the shop for.
