MEMBERS of Alfreton Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team went back to school to talk to children at South Wingfield Primary School.

PCSOs Donna Walker and Tracey Barks spoke to children about strangers and keeping themselves safe when using the internet.

Pupils aged seven to 11 listened to information on the use of social media sites such as Facebook, Bebo and Twitter.

PCSO Walker said: “Although the children should not be using these sites at such a young age we are aware that some of them do and we would like to warn them that not everyone is who they may say they are.”
