The detonators were stolen along with a number of tools and a fire extinguisher from Midland Railway at Butterley sometime between 4pm on Thursday, April 1, and 8.30am on Tuesday, April 6.

Derbyshire Constabulary say it is not clear if those who stole the signals are aware of the dangers, however warned that they say they can cause serious injury if struck, walked on or placed in a fire.
