Men suspected of kicking Derbyshire teenager off his moped and stealing it

Officers in Heanor are appealing for information after a 17-year-old was allegedly robbed of his moped after two men kicked off the vehicle last week.

At around 8.30pm on Thursday, April 15, the teenager was riding his grey Peugeot Kisbee through Shipley Country Park near Osborne’s Pond.

He was then allegedly approached by two men who then kicked him off his moped.

While the 17-year-old rider was on the floor, one of the men is said to have picked up the vehicle and rode off with it.

One of the men is described as wearing a black track suit and the other man was allegedly wearing blue jeans.

Derbyshire police are conducting enquiries into the alleged robbery and are keen to talk to anyone who may have been in the area at the time.

Anyone who has seen the moped since Thursday is also encouraged to come forward and call officers on 101 and quote reference 21*209901.
