Man on horse sex charge in court

An Ilkeston man, facing charges of having sex with a horse, has appeared in court.

Peter Coulby, of Hillingdon Drive, Larklands, spoke only to confirm his name and address at Derby Magistrates Court this morning (Monday).

He is charged with having sex with a horse between March 1 and June 5 and two counts of possessing extreme pornographic images.

Coulby entered no plea and will next appear on Monday November 26 at the same court.

The 58-year-old wore a black leather jacket, a white, untucked shirt and black trousers.

Police were called to an equestrian property in Breaston Lane, Risley, on June 6, following reports that a man was see acting suspiciously in a field.

A man was arrested nearby.
