LANGLEY MILL: Assault appeal

Police in Langley Mill are appealing for information after a 14-year-old boy was assaulted at a bus stop.

At around 3.30pm on Monday, October 14, the victim was standing outside the bus station on Station Road when he was approached by a man.

The man pushed the victim up against a wall and then pulled the victim’s head back and pushed his face into the wall. The victim suffered bruising and swelling to his face.

The offender walked off and got on a bus.

The offender is described as white, around 40-years-old, 6ft tall, of a large build, and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing a dark blue tracksuit top, blue shorts and a baseball cap.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the alleged assault.
