Four men fined over London to Derbyshire trip to “film a rap video for YouTube”

After pulling the blue GT Golf they were travelling in over police realised one of the group was wanted over the defrauding of a 90-year-old South Derbyshire OAP of £9,000.

The 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation and has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.

He was also fined £200 for breaking Covid restrictions, along with one other male aged 24 and two aged 32 and 25.

Police say the car was stopped on the Raynesway island on the A511 in Alvaston just before midnight on March 10.
